The new collection of large scale paintings derive thier meaning and symbolism from the Earth. In many civilizations, the Earth is the primal genesis of life itself. Within the earth the Artist discovers a diverse collection of materia. Inspired by locations along his own private explorations and journeys across our planet, the artist has collected earth and artifacts in the form of natural and time worn objecti that find a new life as artform beneath the skin of the surfaces of these multi frame artworks. The artist's obsession with the tactile and sensoral world is seen, and felt, in these monumentally challenging works. Combining the element of earth, the Artist also infuses the shadows created from lightsource(s) across the canvases. The three dimensionality that results is dramatic and powerful. Some of these works are fully 6 inches from the wall, making a depth of field that is astounding and take up to four men to move and install the art itself. 

Methods of creation and application are multitude and require numerous tools and pigments, earth plasters, resin, found materia and other substances to preserve the surface.
