The Nomadic Project has been temporarily stopped in its tracks. While passing through Tuscon, on a gloomy Sunday afternoon, the Element was plowed into by a 2005 gray Kia. In the driver's seat was a young man on his way to work at Peter Piper's Pizza. The Kia took a speedy right hand turn, lost traction, and slid into the driver's side of the touring, orange Honda.
Thankfully, no one was injured in the collision. After making sure Kristin was okay, Alfonso pryed his door open to find out that the driver of the other vehicle was also fine. Unfortunately, the artists are now left homeless, due to the fact that our "make-shift, motorhome" was determined undrivable by Accurate Auto Services in Tucson.
Estimated repair time is over three weeks!!! Kristin and Alfonso are doing everything in their power to try and keep the schedule. They have now received temporary wheels, and have to resort to staying in hotels as opposed to the National Parks. They are also determining a way to re-route, in order to pick up the "trusty Element" in Tucson, once repaired.
The Nomads sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have on galleries and media expecting the Nomadic Project. They greatly appreciate all the calls and e-mails, and want to re-assure all that The Nomadic Project will continue.
