I International Internet Day Sane Society Awards

Sane Society would like to invite you to participate in an event to celebrate International Internet Day. The event will consist of a contest to determine the best art / music / literature personal website on the Internet.

TO PARTICIPATE

If you wish to participate, all you have to do is send us an email before the 1st of May 2006 to en@sanesociety.org and inform us of your Sane Society user name, as well as the URL of the site that you wish to represent you in the contest.

THE PRIZE

The prize will be a work specifically made for Sane Society by the prestigious Spanish sculpture Solano. The winner will also benefit from a marketing campaign consisting of an interview published at Sane Society in our various communities, as well as a press note translated into eight different languages and distributed to the 9.000 media companies registered in our database.

THE CRITERIA

The criteria to establish a winner will be as follows:

A site can get a maximum of 20 points in total.

1. Artistic quality of the site: up to 10 points.
2. Artistic quality of the work exhibited: up to 5 points.
3. Usability of the site: up to 5 points.

All participating sites must have a text or image link to www.sanesociety.org. In this way we will be promoting our collective for the benefit of all our members. To add such a link, please visit our links section on our homepage. The moment you inform us about it, we will automatically extend your membership for a further 12 months, as a sign of gratitude.

Members of the jury, Sane Society staff and their families will not be allowed to participate.

THE SELECTION

5 finalists will be chosen by Sane Society’s staff, following the outlined criteria. This same jury will then choose a winner by consensus, to be publicly announced on the 17th of May, the International Internet Day.
